When I say “normal” I probably mean a more developed medium-large company. I am referring to the fact that we are moving away from being a start-up, although to be honest we are still one.
We’re launching Office.com in the cloud for the entire company
Well, this part will come later this month but I hope it won’t take much longer. There are some advantages associated with this.
- Shared calendars to access each other’s calendars so you don’t have to agree on meetings.
- “Out of office” messages so you can enjoy your vacation in peace without having to worry about third-party queries that don’t come to fruition.
- Access to Office apps in the cloud.
These points may not seem mexico whatsapp number data like a big change, but anyone who knows me understands that I see progress in the sum of many small things, not in a few big ones. For me, this is a small step that we must continually take to be more productive as a company.
Confluence and Jira for project tasks and documentation
We have been working with Asana for ways to engage your recipients more with the help of social media some time now, but we haven’t really done it 100% right. This time we want to take the final step. Confluence and Jira are the tools I have worked with on almost all client projects. They are very powerful and will help us to be more productive.
- Organizing most projects into sprints to reduce management noise (in this case mine, since I tend to continually “throw” new tasks to the team).
Visualize progress by combining
Jira with Confluence to generate reports egypt data that instantly allow you to see the status without having to consult each task one by one.
- Documentation of projects and meetings to avoid rehashing issues that have already been discussed more than once. Being clear about what was agreed upon and not having to rely on your own memory.
Once again, it’s all about the basics. When I’m on client projects, it’s typically not the big things that go wrong, but rather the small ones. Here, it’s the same old story again. “The blacksmith’s house is made of wood.”
