We have been selling on Amazon for eight years now, I would say. What I enjoy is going through all-time sales. There is always a surprise in the top 100 or even top 10 of best-selling products. When I say surprise, I mean that they can be products that you had even erased from your mind. This gives you a clue as to what the most difficult challenge is on Amazon.
The difficult thing is to stay
I know. It’s not the first time I’ve mentioned switzerland whatsapp number data it and it probably won’t be the last time. The hardest part of being successful on Amazon when it comes to growing is maintaining sales of a product. This is multiplied by a factor of 5-10 if you sell a lot of products, as is the case with us.
The reasons for this may be multiple:
- Launching a new product is always more fun than maintaining or growing a new one.
- Various distractions due to daily Amazon incidents (customers who complicate your life, dealing with Amazon support, listing blocks, etc.).
- Lack of structure to detect in time that a top seller is losing traction.
My strategies to extend the life cycle of a product on Amazon
Getting sales with a product seems easy will you visit it? in comparison. Maintaining those sales is where things get complicated. It’s like everything in life. Losing weight is easy, maintaining weight is difficult. Going to the gym for two months is feasible, doing it for a lifetime is more complicated.
We are in the process of implementing a new egypt data structure. It has to do with Confluence and Jira. The change starts this Thursday. This will allow us to perform the following tasks more easily.
Recurring optimization tasks for existing products:
- This is an easy one. You have to do things continuously. You can’t just rely on things going well. You have to work hard to make them go better.
- Re-examine old top sellers. Here it is a matter of analyzing what has sold in the past to understand where there is untapped potential.
- Continuous and scheduled analysis of the evolution of top sellers. Here, along with prevention, it is also a question of curing when things show negative trends in the form of downward trends.
We need to get more out of the things we have. Period.
