Guidelines for setting up data sources when copying an SEO analysis template

The Data Studio file uses the following data sources:

Search Console data for the website’s blog subdomain, linked via Supermetrics.

Search Console data for the website’s main domain, linked via Supermetrics.

If you are re-creating a report for a website that does not require any subdomains or cross-domains, you can simply use a Search Console data source. We recommend using the Super Metrics connector because they allow for more flexibility and better metrics.

Facebook Ads data linked via Supermetrics

We use SuperMatrix here because we already have a subscription to all of their Data Studio connectors.

This data is only used in the above section. Red about what happens before the visit. Once people arrive on the website, it is best to use the same data source for all three channels – Google Analytics data. You can then filter the chart to only Facebook traffic using a chart filter or GA segment.
